Overview
This document explains how to configure deposit options at the checkout page based on the total cart amount using the WooCommerce Deposits plugin. The deposit can be set as a fixed amount or as a percentage of the cart total, allowing flexible payment options.
Scenario
A store wants to allow customers to pay only a portion of the total order amount at checkout. Instead of setting deposits per product, the store owner decides to apply it based on the cart total. For example, customers can pay , say 50 percent of the total cart value as a deposit, and the remaining amount later.
