How Rules and Restrictions Work?

The Rules and Restrictions section of the ACO Custom Discount plugin allows you to set specific conditions for applying discounts, ensuring they are applied only when predefined criteria are met, such as product price, cart total, or the presence of certain products in the cart.  Now let’s check how to add rules and restrictions to the discount rule.

• Click on the Add new rule option to add a new discount rule.

• Select your required discount rule type from the drop-down menu except for quantity-based discounts.

• From the include product options, please select the required option to decide where you need to add the rule. Such as collection list or to the products of the store. Next, select the include or exclude option from the drop-down menu to include or exclude the products from the discount rule if any.

• For next, enter the discount value you need to add to the rule from the discount options section.

• Now here comes the rules and restriction option. This option list down multiple discount condition modes such as product price, product price in the cart, product in the cart and cart total (for cart-based rules).

• Select the required discount restriction mode from the list and select the condition to apply the rule such as equal to, less than, greater than, less than or equal, greater than or equal.

• At last click on publish button to save the rule you have made.
