Multi-language integration(WPML and Polylang)

1.Working with WPML

WCPA is compatible with WPML(WordPress Multi-lingual), the multi-language integration plugin.

Let’s check how to integrate it to WooCommerce custom product addons. First, you have to install and activate WPML and it’s supporting plugins(WPML Translation Management and WPML String Translation) before using it. And set up the essential settings as per the WPML documentation.

Step 1: Add a form in the base language with some fields. And click on the Save Changes button.

Step 2: Change it into the language you want to translate by clicking on the Other Translations

Or you have an alternative way to select the language. Select it from the toolbar of the WordPress. Please see the figure below.

Step 3: It will give you a duplicate form of the original. It can be used to translate. Change the title and labels to the language you have selected. Click on the Save Changes button to save it.

Step 4: Assign the original form(the form that is created in base language) to the product. You can assign the form to the product only in the base language

2. Working with Polylang

Polylang is a famous multi-language integrator plugin. WCPA supports Polylang plugin to use the forms in other languages.

Let’s go through the integration process of Polylang with our WooCommerce product addons. You need to install two plugins namely, Polylang pro/Polylang and Polylang for WooCommerce before setting up the plugin.

Step 1: Create a new form in your base language. And publish the form.

Step 2 : Change it into the language you want to translate by clicking on the Other Translations 

Step 3: Assign the original form(the form that is created in the base language) to the product. You can assign the form to the product only in the base language
