Upgrade to Product Addon version 5.x/3.x: Important Update for Users

We would like to inform you that the latest version of our WordPress plugin WooCommerce product addons has significant changes that may impact your plugin configuration, and we encourage you to carefully read through the following information before upgrading.

 What’s New?

  • Changed the backend form builder more advanced and user-friendly one
  • Changed front-end form rendering to Ract-based (JavaScript) form, and also have changed the form HTML structure
  • Many new features added to enhance your website

Before upgrading, here’s what you should be aware of.

While we have made efforts to migrate your existing data to the new version, there may still be issues that arise.

  • All custom CSS code written will not work as we have changed the CSS class and structure
    • In the new version, we have provided the backend option to customize form styles easily 
  • All JS/Jquery custom codes 
  • All custom PHP codes wrote, as we have changed all  hooks, also the form data structure, old PHP codes will not work as desired
  • Date picker configurations, As we have changed the date time picker plugin used in the new version, it can break the custom configurations made for the date time picker
    • Though we have managed to migrate the date picker configuration to the new structure, still there can be some issues.
    • In the new version, we have provided all possible options as part of the configuration, without any cusom codes

How to revert back to the old version?

Just download the old version from our website, You can install it, and will automatically replace the new version
