Hi, How can we help?

How to import a bunch of zip codes into our product addons

Overview

This document explains how to import zip code data into an addon form using the Options List feature in WooCommerce Product Addons. The goal is to quickly populate large sets of option values, such as zip codes and locations, by importing them through a CSV file instead of entering them manually.

Scenario

A store needs to add a large number of zip codes and their corresponding locations into a custom field. Manually creating each option would take a lot of time, so the store wants to import the data in bulk using the Options List import feature.

The requirements are

• Create a new options list inside the plugin
• Add sample data and publish the list
• Export the options list as a CSV file
• Replace the sample data with actual zip code and location data
• Save the updated CSV file
• Import the CSV file back into the options list
• Use the imported zip codes inside the addon form

This setup helps store owners manage large option datasets quickly and accurately using the import feature.

What This Configuration Covers

• Creating a new options list
• Exporting options list as a CSV file
• Editing option data in CSV
• Importing zip code data into the options list
• Replacing sample values with real data
• Using imported options in addon forms
